Origin & Tradition

Devil’s Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) originates from the dry regions of southern Africa, particularly Namibia, Botswana and South Africa.

The plant received its name from its small hook-shaped fruits, which attach themselves to animals and help spread the seeds.

For centuries, the root of Devil’s Claw has been valued in traditional African herbal practices. The root tubers are especially appreciated for their valuable bitter compounds and natural plant constituents.

In European herbal tradition, Devil’s Claw became particularly known as a traditional plant supporting mobility, joints and physical wellbeing.

📌Our recommendation is:

Above all, to eat a healthy diet, engage in sports, enjoy daily movement outdoors in nature, and drink clean water. However, in today’s world it is often not possible to follow all of these essential principles of life regularly or long-term. In addition, stress levels are widely high, and exposure to environmental factors, chemicals, toxins, pesticides, and much more has increased.
An essence from the wonderful natural world can not only provide us with valuable vitamins, minerals, and feelings of happiness: when used correctly, it offers remarkably efficient, side-effect free support, both preventively and reactively. ✔️
